Georgia Jack Russell Adoption

Georgia Jack Russell Adoption is a nonprofit rescue located near Atlanta, Georgia. Our mission is to rescue and re-home this often-misunderstood breed.

Pumpkin, our rescue poster child from 2011, stopped by our tent at Woofstock 2011 yesterday to show us some of her agility talents … Then, she demanded hot dogs.

Stop by our booth at Woofstock ‘12 this Saturday. The event is scheduled for Suwanee Town Center Park and you are encouraged to bring your pup(s). Be sure to sign up for the cabin raffle! We’ll be drawing at winner at 4 pm!

Don’t miss the fun! You can still come out to SweetWater 420 Fest today and say hello. We’d love to see you! We’ve met so many wonderful people this weekend, who have supported us in so many wonderful ways. We especially want to thank the little girl who had been saving her change for months to give to a charity of her choice. She chose our dogs, and we could not be more touched!

Looking for something fun to do in the ATL this weekend? Look no further! Come out to Candler Park Fri-Sun for SweetWater 420 Fest. The event doesn’t allow us to bring any dogs with us this year, but stop by our booth to enter our cabin raffle, buy some JRT merchandise, make a donation, win a doggie prize or just say hi. We’d love to see you there!

Heeeyyyyy … how’d you sneak up on me like dat?!

Slick smells spring!

Hi, there! Maxena here. I am a survivor of the Jan. 3 fire at Flashpoint Kennels. I have been through a lot in my short life; now I’m ready to move out of here and on with my life!

I am 5 years old and, as you can see, quite adorable. I have had some fear-aggression issues in the past. Being spayed has really helped me, but I’m still a little scared of new people and situations. I have spent my entire life in a kennel without a lot of interaction or socialization. I don’t know what it’s like to be part of a family. Because of that, I must go to either a rescue or a very experienced Jack Russell owner/trainer who understands canine behavior and how to handle me and help me grow. I am an awesome dog; I just need someone with patience and TLC to help me overcome my past and embrace my future.

I am spayed, UTD on all my shots, heartworm negative and have recently had my teeth cleaned.

I am free to a qualified adoption party. What is left of my kennel is closing, and I need to find a new home soon. For more information, please call 770-918-8582.

If you would like to sponsor my remaining kennel mates and me until we can find new homes, please visit our ChipIn page.
